Thrifting, deliveries and back roads drives.

Beyond Main is a little boutique shop in downtown Smithfield, VA.  This is where I sell some of my clothing tops and jackets, locally.  They have many unique clothing items and I even got a new hat, so make sure you stop in when you’re visiting.  

Several weeks ago Steve and I were doing a little drive around, we always look for local, vintage, antique, “fun junk” kind of stores.   We found a couple in Ivor, a small town near us here in Southeast Virginia.  The Faded Cottage on Main Street, is a little shop with all kinds of home and garden goods, as well as a little clothing section in the back of the shop.  I picked up this great basket/tray that Steve is going to use to make a new garden table I have been needing for a long time.
