We have been working on our kitchen up grade for a couple of months. Doing all the work ourselves has taken a little longer-since you also have jobs-but I think it is going to be worth. The cost savings and being able to do some creative things with reclaimed materials, and a quirky layout are really coming together. It has also made me clean out and really decide what I want to do and need to keep for the future, for work and life.

Since the whole downstairs of my home is really one big space, that blends together we had to expand the project. I use part of the space as my studio work space, I am the one here most all the time these days-everyone else is still working. I figured the studio should be accessible to me and most space usually just sits empty especially with Covid 19.

With that, I have been updating my studio space for the new type of work I will be doing, including a place to create the videos for online classes and all. There are so many things to decide, plus I always need my space to be visually stimulating. Another issue I have is getting enough light, I have a lot of windows but also a lot of trees that makes it tricky.
